FAST Scenarios

“Superhero Jam Session” by Steve Bruns
Who wants to be a hero? The FAST RPG lets you quickly and easily build whatever kind of hero you want. In this session, players will be provided with a roster of standard character types (bricks, martial artists, etc.) which they can then customize to build their own superhero. Play your favorite character from the comics or come up with something completely original—it’s your choice. Will your hero be able to stand against the dimension-hopping villainy that follows?

“Angels of M/ER-C” by Steve Bruns
In the cold dark of unexplored space, there are an infinite number of things that can kill you: hostile life forms, alien artifacts, weird cosmic phenomena, even the treachery of your fellow humans. But, traveler, if you’re ever in a jam (and you’re very lucky) you might be rescued by heroes of the Medical/Emergency Rescue-Corps, the “angels” of M/ER-C. Interstellar rescue workers, explorers, peacekeepers, exobiology specialists….Do you have what it takes to “serve and protect” humanity in a dangerous universe?

“Undercover Cool” by Steve Bruns
“Good evening, Mr. Phelps. The man in the photograph is Aleksander Gromov, expert in electronic cryptography and suspected agent of the international terrorist organization known as “The Hammer and Sickle.” Gromov has ‘acquired’ code keys vital to the defense of western allies and is planning to distribute the decrypted information back to his Communist superiors. Your mission, should you decide to accept it is to find out what information Gromov has, uncover the identity of the mole who stole it in the first place, and render the code keys useless. As always, should any member of your team be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. Good luck, Jim. This tape will self-destruct in 5 seconds…”

“Star Fall” by Mike Becker
In a post-apocalyptic world, you are summoned to appear before the Magistrate of Haven, one tough border town despite the pleasant name. Hoping your shady "side business" hasn’t been discovered, you arrive to find other adventurers and scavengers have also been recruited. The Magistrate informs you that a Star Fall occurred last night and saddles you with the task to investigate the crash site. What has fallen from the sky could be useful salvage, a dangerous threat, or just a wild goose chase. In this world of strange mutants, lethal radiation, and untold hazards, this is certainly not a choice assignment, but who knows how you might profit from the venture if you play your cards right?

"The Restless Hunger of Neely Park" by Woody Babb
Curious visions, voices in the dark, and murder most foul bring an odd assortment of strangers together in this Tale of Victorian Terror. Can you uncover the clues that will lead you deeper and deeper into the unknown? Will you willingly face the chilling horror that awaits those who foolishly seek it? Enter the fog-shrouded London of 1888 to solve the mystery of Neely Park, if you dare.

“A Night in the Lonesome October” LARP by Larry and Woody Babb
Twelve famous (and infamous) people gather at a haunted Victorian mansion on Halloween night. Some seek to usher in the Great Old Ones, others wish to bar their entrance into our world, but not even the GM will know who is on which side until midnight. Players must make alliances and obtain specific items to further their goals. Can Sherlock Holmes match wits with Jack the Ripper? Will Count Dracula join forces with Imhotep? The fate of mankind hangs in the balance.

“Indiana Jones and the Horn of Valhalla” by Larry Babb
Doc Savage has disappeared under mysterious circumstances and a sinister plot begins to unfold around a curious Viking artifact. Indiana Jones joins forces with Doc’s companions, the Fabulous Five, in this two-fisted, pulp-era adventure delving deep into the very heart of the Third Reich. Can you put an end to the nefarious Nazi scheme and rescue the Man of Bronze in time?
